Harm Reduction Supplies Distribution

In partnership with Toronto Public Health, Casey House provides 24/7 low-barrier access to safer injection and inhalation supplies at our front door. This service provides people who use drugs with access to supplies and supports, and also reduces risks of some infectious disease transmission, as well as other harms associated with substance use. As a participating partner of the Ontario Naloxone Program for Naloxone distribution and education, take-home naloxone kits to reverse overdoses are also available with training to recognize and respond to signs of opioid overdose. The demand for these services has increased and become more essential with the convergence of the overdose crisis, housing crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
