Voices for World AIDS Day is a variety show featuring a range of local performers. It is an annual demonstration of support for people living with HIV/AIDS, which enables compassionate, judgement-free and socially-just health care at Casey House.

As a community event, clients are encouraged to attend alongside donors, corporate sponsors and members of our neighbourhood.

Voices for World AIDS Day events take place across the country as part of a national partnership between HIV/AIDS organizations to recognize World AIDS Day (December 1).

Art With Heart, presented by TD Bank Group, is an annual auction of contemporary Canadian art and is held each year in October. It is one of the country’s most prestigious fundraising auctions and Casey House Foundation’s longest running event.

The auction has become an annual tradition among Toronto’s art aficionados and collectors. It is the perfect occasion to expand your collection with unique pieces by established and emerging artists from across Canada, curated by a committee of art experts.

Over the last 27 years, Art With Heart has raised more than $13 million to support compassionate, judgement-free HIV/AIDS care at Casey House. The auction has also supported and launched the careers of countless artists and galleries, who contribute the original works of art that are critical to the auction’s success.

June’s HIV+ Eatery is a 3-night dining experience where the meal is prepared by people living with HIV. It launched our #smashstigma campaign in 2017 and now takes place every year in March as a fundraiser.
When Casey House found that 53% of Canadians said they wouldn’t knowingly eat a meal prepared by someone who is HIV+, we started challenging people to do just that.

This thought-provoking dining experience supports judgement-free health care at Casey House while also addressing HIV stigma. A multi-course, family-style dinner is prepared by a team of people living with HIV in partnership with chef Matt Basile from Fidel Gastro’s. Together, we fight stigma with every bite.

You can’t get HIV from food, but you can #smashstigma

By being HIV+ I can’t go back and change the beginning of my life, but I can start where I am and change my ending by being an inspiration to others living with HIV and letting people know we are the same with or without the virus.
